This flex cable brings the front camera, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and top microphone together for the iPhone 7 Plus. It is aimed at a dead selfie camera, a screen that will not switch off in calls, faulty auto-brightness and a top mic that callers struggle to hear.
The iPhone 7 Plus must be opened to reach the flex, so check every function before final reassembly. Power the phone off and disconnect the battery before you start. Keep the screws in order, avoid pulling or sharply bending the flex, and hold a call test to confirm the mic, sensors and camera all respond.
