This LCD screen and touch digitiser assembly is supplied to OEM standard for the Motorola Moto E (2020), the version of the E-series Motorola released in 2020, distinct from earlier and later Moto E phones that use a different screen. The panel and touch layer arrive already joined, so the whole display stack is replaced as one part.
Use this assembly when a Moto E (2020) has cracked or shattered glass, a display fault such as flickering, a black screen or dead pixels, or a touchscreen that no longer tracks taps accurately. Because several Moto E generations share a similar look, check the exact model and year in Settings › About phone before ordering — the (2020) dating matters here. Freeing the back cover usually takes a heat source together with plastic prying tools to loosen the adhesive, and any earpiece mesh or bracket fitted to the old black screen is worth moving across if the replacement does not come with its own.
